The next two weekends are a great time to take your family fishing in Florida.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is giving anglers an opportunity to fish without a license for the next 2 weekends.
Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd you can go saltwater fishing without a license.
Saturday, June 8th and Sunday, June 9th is free freshwater fishing.
You still need to be sure that you are following all regulations for size and bag limits.
An annual fishing license for either fresh or saltwater is $17 for Florida residents and $47 for non-residents. So if you decide that your family enjoys fishing, the cost is relatively low for the year.
No matter what state you live in, they probably have free fishing days this month too! Just check with your local fish and wildlife for dates and regulations.
